Food is Medicine: Combat a Cold From The Goodies in Your Cupboard


Sniffles, sore throats, runny noses, congestion, sinus ache, body ache....flu...colds....'tis the season.
Here is one of the BEST remedies for preventing, fighting, reducing the duration of the illness and decreasing the severity of the symptoms.
....DRUM ROLL.......wait for it....
**Before beginning, apply some form of lip balm to your lips**

Apple Cider Vinegar Magic Potion
1. Back out of your medicine cabinet
2. Take a stroll into the KITCHEN
3. Look on your spice rack and take out CAYENNE PEPPER
4. Set out Apple Cider Vinegar, organic, raw and unfiltered is best. Trader Joe's brand is great, too.
5. Honey
6. Lemon (Organic if possible)
7. Fill a glass with warm water
8. Combine 1 T Apple cider vinegar, dash cayenne pepper, 1 T honey, 1/2 lemon juice into the warm water.
9. Gargle entire glass.
10. Grab tissue. Your sinuses may begin to drain.
11. Lie down. Rest.
